Go in My Spirit

In the beginning when God said to the people go forth and multiply – the people of that day knew what God meant, for it was God saying; “Go in the Spirit of God, go in My Spirit and multiply the fruits of the Spirit of My Spirit which are; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control”.

This was a blessing that God gave His people in the beginning and the people understood but over the years sadly; theologians,  philosophers, religious leaders of all faiths, have taken those words out of context to imply that in someway that humanity are a breeding machine.

Humanity is diverse and beautiful, people are called to many things and people given many different gifts but together we are beautiful and we are blessed and I want you to realise that the whole of humanity together, once we learn to start working together collectively, can create something beautiful for God.

We are all called to serve God in different ways – a man or woman in union are born to serve the family of God as mums and as dads, who have a responsibility to care for the family of God in family units, while two men or two women in union together are called to serve God.

Therefore we need to all recognise that we are all one family of God, including gays and lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals who are all children of God and are all part of the family of God who are someone’s sons and daughters who deserve equal respect.

Therefore when religious people teach the importance of family life - they do not understand the true meaning of family if they do not include the lesbians and the gays, and the bisexuals and the transsexual people as part of that family - because we are all part of the family of God.

“Go in the Spirit of God, go in My Spirit and multiply the fruits of the Spirit, of My Spirit which are;

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness and self control”.
